| There are many volunteer opportunities at MAP. There is a need for all types of people with diverse interests. We can use your help to: Volunteer to go on field trips with the Career Campers. Help staff organize a fundraiser. Volunteer to plant flowers at our housing sites in the spring or in the fall. Volunteer to assist staff in planning a social event (dance, picnic, bowling outing, movie outing, horseback riding, softball challenge, etc.) for young adults with a developmental disability. Volunteer to help with a capital campaign to raise money for the development of a multi-user office building owned by the agency. Bring technical expertise in engineering, manufacturing, business planning, landscape design, architecture, energy efficiency, grant writing, small business operations, technology to our team. Donate up to date computers and computer technology training. Donate software to enhance business efficiency. Donate vehicles for use with clients or assist in repair and maintenance of vehicles. Assist in raising money for the needs of veterans in Home Zone. Volunteer to be a mentor. Volunteer to work in the office: reception, phones, filing, computer word processing, computer programming. Be a board member. Organize a community group to raise funds for MAP. |
